Mom Pranks Daughter With Fake School Shooting Text, Ends Up In Jail

Everyone has seen a tasteless April Fool's day prank, but a mom in South Carolina may have taken the cake for the worst one this year.She texted her daughter and told her there was a shooting on her college campus and ended up in jail.

According to WYFF4, the 54-year-old texted her daughter and said there way a shooting on the campus of the college where she works. The daughter, obviously freaked out, called police, who then swarmed the campus looking for a shooter.

Now super-mom is facing charges of disturbing school, aggravated breach of peace, and two counts of unlawful use of telephone.

There are a number of things that are off limits when it comes to April Fool's day jokes, school shootings are definitely near the top of that list.
