Man Steals And Crashes Semi Truck Because He Was Being Chased By Zombies

“It wasn't me officer…but I was being chased by Zombies.”

That’s, more-or-less, the excuse a California man gave police after he crashed a stolen truck full of strawberries.

According to UPI the 19-year-old man stole the semi truck from a weight station and took off towards another city. He ended up crashing the truck into three other vehicles and then flipped it.

He got out of the wreckage and jumped into a nearby van, claiming he had never been driving the truck and that zombies were chasing him and he had to get away.

Zombies…really?

Police are trying to determine if the guy was under the influence of drugs. I think this is one of those cases where you hope the guy was, just to explain his behavior.
