Man Steals $10,000 From Chase Bank ‘For Love’
Of all the excuses a bank robber can use in a courtroom, I’m pretty sure, “I did it for love,” won’t be keeping anyone out of jail.
According to Dispatch.com, a 24-year-old former teller of Chase Bank stole $10,000 from the bank before he quit last summer. The bank noticed the money missing about a week after he took it and surveillance video showed the guy snatching the cash out of his drawer.
Now, here come the really stupid part; In court our guy confessed that he took the money to impress his girlfriend.
I’m not a 20-something lady, but I’m pretty sure a guy that steals ten-grand from work wouldn’t impress me much.
Just sayin'.
'Has been in federal prison' is not on very many women's 'perfect man list'.
