Dumb Criminal of the Day: Stalker Planned to Win Back Girlfriend – By Kidnapping Her

Some guys never really get the hint. If she says “it’s over,” it probably is. And when she gets you arrested for stalking her after that, it’s beyond over.

But that didn't stop this Hollywood man from hatching a devious plan to try and win back his girlfriend’s heart.

Our guy concocted 23 pages of maps, photos, personal details and a scripted performance outlining a plan to get his girl back. According to the Orlando Sentinel he called the plan “Operation Stitches.” Unfortunately, the plan involved kidnapping his would-be girlfriend.

Doesn’t that sound romantic ladies?

While in prison for stalking said ex, the man befriended a prison inmate and recruited his help for the plot.

Here’s the outline of the plan:

[He] asked a former cellmate to help abduct [his former girlfriend] from the hospital parking garage, tie her up, drug her and hold her captive at a warehouse…The same gang would pretend to kidnap [him] too, leave them alone together, demand a $9,000 ransom from [the girlfriend] and take them to a motel…[He], acting like a victim, will then attempt to reconcile their relationship and convince her not to follow up with authorities.

To make matters worse our guy also said he was willing to take the like of his would-be lover if anything went wrong.

What a sweetheart.

Thankfully, even the other inmate he recruited thought it was creepy and crazy. He told police about the plot and they put our guy back in prison.
