Man Leaves Child At Liquor Store, Leaves, Gets Drunk, Comes Back For Kid

Note to self: Don’t be this guy.

A Florida man brought his infant to a liquor store lounge, then disappeared after taking a smoke break and came back later, wasted, to pick his kid up.

I’ve heard of some bad parenting stories before, but this is awful. According to Pix 11, the 26-year-old man showed up to the Shark Lounge and Liquor Store in Daytona Beach along with his infant child.

[He] handed the baby to a clerk, went out for a smoke… and disappeared. By the time he came back he was drunk, and the clerk had called police.

Police say Rowe left the store with the baby, wandered into traffic and laid down in the street. The pathetic papa then hid from police in the bushes, but the scared tot gave him away by crying in the cold.

Are you kidding me? Handing your kid to a bartender, leaving to go get wasted, then coming back for the kid and hiding in some bushes out in the cold until your crying baby gives you away to police?! This could be the worst dad ever.

Thankfully the kid was fine and was returned to its mothers. Deadbeat dad now faces charges of child neglect.

I wish there were a lot more charges against him for this. Acting like that goes waaaaay beyond simple stupidity.
