Drunk Mother Reports Inftant Missing After Leaving Her In The Street – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

We have a new candidate for worst mom of the year; a 30 year-old-woman was arrested after her 11-month-old baby was found strapped in his car seat, face down in the middle of a street.

Mom, was apparently too drunk to know where her child was and called police to report him missing.

Now, just to calm your nerves, the kid was okay other than being a little dehydrated. He was turned over to child protective services.

Now, what happened?

According to NewsOn6, this woman and her husband had called police to report their missing baby around 9:30 at night. Mom and dad were so intoxicated that they had no idea where the child was, and couldn't even give much info as to where the child could be.

Police found a witness that had given mom a ride home that night, so they canvassed the area where she was picked up and found the car seat lying face down in the street with the 11-month old strapped inside.

The kid had been laying there, a mile-and-a-half from home in the summer heat for over three hours.

Dad was not arrested in the case, but he had just been released from prison the Friday before the incident. Mom was arrested for child endangerment (She also had other warrants out for her arrest for court costs and three other felony cases).

Too drunk to know where you left your baby, that’s insane!
