Today's dumb criminal comes to us from the Mile High City, it is a grocery store worker who used his uniform to dupe employees at another store and steal money from their cash registers.

Seeing that the crook actually works (worked?) for King Soopers, I'm assuming he knows how much video security they have. I'm wonder how he thought he'd get away without someone recognizing him.

According to KDVR, the 22-year-old wore his King Soopers uniform and went to the fuel center at a different store location, told the clerk they needed help inside and he had been sent outside to take over. When the other employee left he then pocketed cash out of the register.

He tried again at a different store, but that employee didn't recognize him and wouldn't allow him in the fuel center, so our brilliant crook then went back to the store his ploy had worked at the first time and tried again with a different clerk. This clerk called security who recognized our guy from his previous robbery and brought in the police to arrest him.

Trying to pocket over a thousand dollars from the company you work for, in front of a security camera, while wearing his work uniform. Not a bright move.
