A Cheyenne woman is facing some pretty hefty charges after going all Carrie Underwood on her fiancé’s car.

According to WyomingNews.com, the 22-year-old woman had gotten into a fight with her fiancé and after the spat, the husband-to-be left and slept at a friend’s house. He was awoken around 3:30 in the morning by someone telling him his car was on fire.

Not the best news to wake up to, I’m sure.

Turns out the wife-to-be allegedly used gasoline to completely torch his ’98 Honda Civic.

Revenge may be sweet, but when you do things like that there are consequences.

The woman now faces a charge of third degree felony arson which could land her in jail for up to five years. But it gets worse; on top of that she had a warrant out for her arrest after failing to appear in court, twice, after driving under the influence with a 2-month old baby in the car.

I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats. I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires…

Sounds a lot better than, “I poured gasoline on his 1998 coup, and watched it burn.”

Just sayin’.

Not that it would be any less illegal to emulate the Underwood lyrics instead of making a bonfire out of his ride. I wonder what he did to deserve that kind of retribution?

I'm going to say these two were not meant to be together.
