TaserI thought only Ron Burgundy could say, “I’m kind of a big deal,” and actually believe it. But this Florida woman told police that she could not be questioned or detained about a reported assault case because of her profession. However, a police taser told her otherwise.

According to NWF Daily News, police showed up at this woman’s address to investigate an assault, but the 44-year-old told police she had nothing to say to them.

When an officer tried to tell her the allegations were serious, she cut him off, saying “You want to lock me up, officer? I’m done talking with you.”

She started walking out of the room with a bag in her hands, but the police officer pointed a taser at her and told her she could not leave. She asked why he was pointing a gun at her and started flailing her arms around in anger. She also said she was a federal attorney and could not be detained.

That’s when the taser hit her.

She hit the ground and will be charged with resisting arrest without violence and obstruction by a disguised person.
I don’t think the “I’m a big important attorney” card is going to get her very far in jail.
