Woman Fined For Blowing Whistle On Telemarketer – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

We've all wanted to get revenge on those pesky telemarketers who call late at night, early in the morning, during dinner, and at just about every inappropriate time you can think of. But a 61-year-old German woman tried to get her revenge on one, and ended up in court getting fined for it.

Just what did this woman do to her unwanted caller?

She grabbed the loudest whistle she could find, and on the next the next telemarketing call she received, she blew it as loud as she could into her phone receiver.

Sounds like a great idea right? Well, think again.

Her high-pitched blast was so powerful it left a female call center employee with hearing problems and tinnitus.

Our whistle blower was convicted of causing bodily harm and was fined $1,000 in court.

It just doesn't seem fair, does it?

They can annoy you every day of your life, but you make one of them go deaf and you’re the one in court. Tisk tisk.

In all honesty though, telemarketers are just doing their jobs. So, if you are mad at someone, be mad at the company paying them to call you, not the person doing the calling.

And causing any kind of bodily harm is generally not a good route to go down, in any circumstance.
