People these days will apparently do anything to avoid getting a ticket.

A New Zealand woman reportedly faked being pregnant and in labor in order to avoid a speeding ticket that was going to be issued to her.

The car was seen traveling nearly 100 mph and police were planning on laying down spikes to slow the speeding vehicle. But before the spikes became necessary the car eventually pulled over with two men and a woman inside. The woman was leaning back in her chair with her feet on the dashboard pretending to be in labor.

The police apparently fell for it after they called in an ambulance to take the woman to the hospital.

Well they didn't get away with the hoax. The police later called the hospital to check in with the woman's condition. They quickly found out the woman discharged herself quickly after arriving at the hospital.

The 23 year old driver was later busted for dangerous driving.
