Bologna Sandwich

Accidentally calling 911 can be easily forgiven. Calling 911 for things that aren’t emergencies is against the law. But doing it six times to praise the Sheriff on how good your bologna sandwich from the jail cafeteria was is just plain stupid.

According to KERO TV, a 51-year-old Florida woman is back in jail for repeatedly calling 911 to thank the sheriff for the bologna sandwiches she had during her first last stint in jail.

Here is the transcript from the 911 call from KERO TV:

Dispatcher: "911."

Brown: "The last time I was arrested, the sheriff gave me his bologna sandwich."

Dispatcher: "Ma'am, do you have an emergency?"

Brown: "I remember that."

Dispatcher: "Ma'am do you have an emergency right now?"

Brown: "I remember what he gave me to eat."

Six times she called 911…SIX! She was charged with six felony counts of misuse of 911 and taken to jail.
