A woman known as the 'Topless Barber' was arrested in Longmont. She wasn't arrested because she gave topless haircuts though, read on to find out why she was.

According to the Times-Call, the 46-year-old woman had been ordered to "give up practicing the use of unauthorized tools for manicures and to cease and desist from performing permanent makeup services" back in 2008 . However, she was working at a salon in Longmont, she opened a salon in Johnstown, and was offering offering topless hairstyling in the Johnstown and Loveland area via Craigslist ads.

After an investigation police arrested her on "suspicion of a second offense of practicing barbering and cosmetology without a license and felony criminal impersonation."

She had apparently told police that "her license was in the mail" and that she had also applied for a "a nude license for hairstylists" which does not actually exist. (Surprise, surprise.)

This has got to be one of most ridiculous webs of lies I've heard in a while, plus it's all tangled up in the absurd practice of semi-nude haircuts. It sounds like the plot of a bad sitcom.

Oh, and our little peep-show-hairstylist already has nine previous felony convictions. (Identity theft, motor vehicle theft, felony theft, possession of a weapon by a previous offender, etc.)

A criminal mastermind she is not...
