My BlingStealing someone else's jewelry is wrong, but posting pictures of yourself wearing said jewelry and daring the victim to "do something about it” is just plain stupid.

According to NOLA.com, a 26-year-old Louisiana man, along with three other men broke into a home a few months back and stole four expensive, custom pieces of jewelry.

Our guy eventually started uploading pictures of himself wearing the stolen goods to Instagram, and sending threatening messages to the victim.

In the pictures, a man taunted the victim while wearing one of the stolen necklaces, daring him to do something about it.

Do something about it he did.

He called police and they showed up at the thief’s apartment and found one of the stolen necklaces. Instagram selfies look great on the evidence tables of courtrooms.

Ahh, the sweet taste of justice!
