Girl Scouts cookies are, I’m fairly certain, more addicting than many illicit drugs. But stealing from Girl Scouts? That is low!

In Houston, TX, the scouts of Troop #29152 were selling their delicious treats in front of a Wal-Mart store when a pair of crooks made off with $200 in their money bag, but not without these girl scouts putting up a fight.

According to CBS News one of the suspects approached the girls as a potential customer and his friend pulled up next to him in a car, urging him to hurry up. Instead of buying cookies, the man grabbed the scout's cash box and hopped his friend’s getaway vehicle.

However, one of the girls ran to the car and grabbed on to it. Two more tried hitting the man in the passenger seat and trying to snatch their money bag back.

One of the girls told reporters,

I started hitting the boy that was in the passenger seat, so I think he learned his lesson a little bit.

The suspects dragged the girl holding on to the car across to parking lot before she let go and then they made off with the cash and are still on the loose.

CBS reported that one of the girls had a message for the crooks:

Who steals from a Girl Scout? I mean, seriously, it's like the worst thing ever, I hope your face hurts from when [my friend] punched you -- jerks!

The worst part is that those girls will be responsible for the cookies money if it is not returned. I’m hoping there will be some generous donations to help foot the bill for these bruised and battered scouts.

Seriously, who steals money from girl scouts?!
