Is that a TV in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?

In Columbia Heights, Minnesota, a 21-year-old was arrested after shoplifting a 19-inch flat screen television, by stuffing it in his pants!

Stuffing stolen goods in your trousers has been a signature move of petty thieves for centuries. The advent of baggy pants becoming popular in the 90’s made shoplifting even easier for Jnco-laden thugs. But how baggy would your pants need to be to try and smuggle out a television in them?

According to The Republic, our guilty party was spotted by a police officer who noticed his pants were falling down and he was walking "straight-legged, shuffling his feet, and not bending his knees."

When approached by the officer our guy squatted and put his hands in his pants (not the best thing to do when approached by police). The officer handcuffed him and then noticed a large square item in the guy’s pants.  That item turned out to be a 19-inch flat screen TV.

In addition, they found a remote, power cords and a bottle of brake fluid…all in his jeans.

Just how big were those pants?!

I bet that had to be a fun police report to write up.
