If someone skips out on their prison sentence, you’d think they would want to lay low for awhile. But not this guy who used his Facebook account to taunt his probation officer and the County Judge who sentenced him while on the lam.

According to Yahoo News, our guy skipped out of Oregon rather than attend his mandatory drug treatment that he agreed to after pleading guilty to robbery.

Showing a complete lack of common sense, and an overabundance of stupidity, he started using his Facebook account to make sure the state knew he had gotten away. Such brilliant posts as; "Fresh out of another state," "Catch me if you can," and he also wrote a rant about the legal system and signed it “the 1 who got away."

He apparently didn’t think that anyone would look at his other Facebook posts, like the one that said, “I’m in Alabama,” or the picture he posted of his unborn son’s sonogram that still had the Hospital name and county where the picture was taken on it.

It didn’t take too much sleuthing for the probation officer to track down this miscreant.

He was returned to Oregon to face the same judge he had been dissing on Facebook and begged for leniency.

The judge wasn’t interested in leniency and sentenced the guy to 2 ½ years in prison and ordered him to reimburse the state $2,600 for flying him home.
