Police Called To Free Man From Handcuffs In Porn Shop – Dumb Criminal of the Day

Today’s story doesn’t actually involve a criminal, it's just a really embarrassing story for some poor sucker in Connecticut.

Firefighters and Police were called out to free a man out of a pair of handcuffs. Handcuffs he had tried on in an adult entertainment store.

According to KABC this all went down in Orange, Connecticut. Employees of the adult shop had to call the fire department and then the police to rescue a patron. A guy had been trying on some handcuffs for ‘adult entertainment’ purposes and became totally stuck in a pair of them.

After a few failed attempts authorities had to break out the bolt-cutters to free the man.

Can you imagine trying to make that phone call? “Uh, hi honey….I might be a little late. I’m here at the porn shop and I’m stuck in some handcuffs.”

At least this guy’s name seems to have stayed off of the police blotter. That’s the kind of embarrassment most people never live down.
