Oregon Bank Robber Leaves Behind Keys To Getaway Car
When robbing a bank, leaving your keys behind is a big ‘no-no’, especially when you need them to start your getaway car.
A 57-year-old man in Oregon makes the dumb criminals list today for leaving his car keys behind at a bank robbery.
According to KOMONews, our guy somehow left the keys to his getaway car in a Wells Fargo bank while robbing it with a fake gun. When he got back to his car with the stolen money and realized his error he, unsuccessfully, tried to hide in a nearby office building.
He was arrested and Police now think he may have been behind at least five other nearby bank robberies.
You’d think a ‘seasoned vet’ like that would something like keeping his keys in his pocket down.
