A Michigan woman recruited her 11 year-old daughter, a young boy and a 61 year-old woman to shoplift clothes for her at an Old Navy in Michigan.

Security footage at the store showed the four entering just shortly after 8pm. After entering they all split up to different sections of the store and began putting different clothing items in various bags they had on them. Security guards quickly realized what was going on and were able to capture the young girl and the 61 year old. The mother and the young boy however, did get away... for the time being.

The 11 year-old was found with $120 in clothing in her bags, she then told police that her mother instructed her to take the clothing then to meet her out by her car.

After the mother, who got away, did not show up to pick her daughter up at the police station the police got a hold of her on the phone and the mother denied ever being at the store. After a few hours the mother called back at 10:20 pm to admit she lied about not being part of the crime because "she was scared."

After all of that, the mother still did not pick up her daughter at the station. Eventually an aunt picked up the little girl and the mother was then wanted for retail fraud, child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
