Stealing someone’s iPad is not nice. Stealing (and wearing) their monogrammed shirt is just ludicrous.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, a Florida homeowner came home to find his home ransacked his electronics and belongings stolen, and his gas stove left on with burning napkins lying around it.

Not a good thing to come home to.

Luckily, one of the things stolen was the man’s iPad, which he had linked to his iPhone. This allowed him to see the GPS location of exactly where the stolen iPad was. The man rode with police to the location and saw a 28-year-old woman sitting on her front steps using the stolen iPad.

Nearby they also saw a 25-year-old man who was wearing the homeowner’s stolen FSU pajama bottoms and a custom-made shirt with the homeowner’s name (Larry) embroidered on the front.

That's just wrong.

I would have loved to have been the arresting officer on that case just to be able to walk up to that guy and say, “Excuse me, uh…Larry? You’re under arrest.

I for one am happy that technology is starting to help thwart some of these heartless crooks.
