Middle School Basketball Coach Bites Ear Off of Opposing Coach – Dumb Criminal of the Day

We’ve had a lot of dumb criminals that could be up for ‘worst mom/dad of the year’ awards, but how about this guy for ‘worst coach of the year’?

The coach of a middle-school basketball team bit the ear off of another team's coach after losing to him in the championship game.

You know there is a problem when the 12-year-old kids on your team have more common sense than you.

This all went down in Massachusetts where police responded to a disturbance at the Holy Name School where two 6th-grade basketball teams had been playing for the league championship.

According to NBC Connecticut, the 34-year old coach of the losing team didn't like how the game ended up and assaulted the winning team’s coach after the game, and actually bit part of his ear off! People from the crowd pulled him off the injured coach and he ran out of the gym before police arrived.

The victim was taken to a hospital and his ear was reattached, the attacker was apprehended and faces charges of mayhem, assault and battery among other things.

Most coaches teach sportsmanship and respect to kids on their teams, not how to go all ‘Mike Tyson’ on someone after losing an important game.

This guy should have nothing to do with teaching kids ANYthing.
