Man Tries To Eat Fake Bills After Trying To Use Counterfeit Money At IHOP And McDonald’s

Counterfeit money is usually pretty easy to spot, but when someone gets busted trying to use it, you’d think they could find a better way to try and destroy the evidence than eating it.

According to WCYB, three people in Tennessee are facing charges after they tried to use funny money at two different restaurants. The trio tried to pay for a meal at an IHOP restaurant, but employees were suspicious of the not-quite-right cash.

The trio then went to a nearby McDonald’s, but employee’s there also noticed the money was not real and called police. (I think food service workers are more "on their game" than most people think.)

One of the men had hidden the counterfeit money in his shoes, but when the cops showed up at the golden arches, he tried to get rid of the fake bills….by eating them!

Not just eating fake money, but eating fake money that had just been stuffed in his stinky shoes.

Gross.
