Man Steals TV, Flees On Bike, Crashes Into Cop Car – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

Thinking about “the getaway” seems to be something that a lot of crooks overlook.

This man in Florida stole a 32-inch TV and made his getaway on a bicycle. You might be thinking he has some mad cycling skills to ride away with a big bulky box like that, but his escape was cut short when he crashed into a police car.

According to MySunCoast.com, the 32-year-old guy stole the television from a Wal-Mart and took off with his stolen goods on two wheels.

Trying to elude the police that were chasing him, our guy looked behind him  he crashed right into the back of another police detective’s cruiser.

So, instead of a free TV he got a nasty bump on the head and a trip to jail. And his $2,000 bicycle was impounded.
