Man Shoots Himself Mowing Lawn – Dumb Criminal Of The Day

Today’s dumb criminal story involves a lawn mower and a handgun.

If that doesn’t pique your interest, I don’t know what will.

According to The Denver Channel, a Colorado Springs man is recovering after being shot. Well, technically he shot himself…accidentally.

Man-genius was mowing his lawn while carrying a loaded handgun in his pocket. I’m assuming he made a wicked turn around some flowering annuals when the gun fell out of his pocket, hit the ground and discharged. Lodging a bullet in the man's leg. He was treated and released at a nearby hospital.

Unless he charges himself with attempted murder he’s not really a criminal, but he certainly could use some help in the common sense department.

Let's hope he stays away from riding mowers, we wouldn't want him to pull a 'drive-by' on himself.
