Last week, I shared with you Derek & I’s attempt at real-life Mario Kart. We had a few things going to us; we were driving legally on a go kart track, and neither of us were on parole. We had a good time unlike this guy from California who ended up in jail after a little real-life Mario Kart racing from the cops.

According to News 10, our guy was driving ‘recklessly’ (is there any other way to drive a go kart?) on a go kart at four in the afternoon. Police tried to pull the man over, but he tried to evade them on his nimble ride. The chase reached speeds of *gasp* 25 miles per hour before our guy pulled into a driveway, ran through someone’s backyard, and then into a home.

Police took him in to custody and he faces charges of evading police and resisting arrest. Neither of which are going to go over well with his parole officer.

Yeah, a high speed chase with cops while you're on parole. Not smart dude. Not smart.
