Man in Pub Mistakes Police Officer for Stripper

Cases of mistaken identity can lead to some awkward situations. Take this man for instance, he was arrested after he mistook a police officer in a pub for a stripper.

According to AZCentral, this went down in the United Kingdom where our 27-year-old guy showed up at the pub with some friends who had told him there would be some 'adult entertainment'. He came in and saw a 'stripper' dressed up as a cop. He pointed her out to his friends, danced up to her and flicked a bar towel in her face.

A real classy guy this one.

Turns out the 'stripper' was an actual cop and proceeded to arrest the guy. In court he said it was nothing more than a "genuine and honest mistake."

(As if there was any other argument he could try and make.)
