Man In Banana Costume Holding AK-47 By Texas Highway Arrested

A man in a banana suit can be whimsical, but a man in a banana suit with an assault rifle? Not so much…

According to 12 News Now, police in Texas responded to calls about a man dressed as a banana standing on the side of the highway with an AK-47. Turns out the guy was being paid by the owner of  Golden Triangle Tactical to promote his stores new location opening.

Because nothing makes me want to buy a gun more than driving by a guy dressed as a banana with a gun on his back.

The 18-year-old who was in the banana suit now faces charges for soliciting alongside a roadway and might face criminal charges for displaying a firearm.
