Stolen car in Enmore - Leap to Leap Project photo 0006
A Canadian man was sentenced to spending weekends in jail. One weekend he decided to show up in a stolen car, earning himself another 10-months in the slammer.

According to Sun News, our guy was supposed to serve 60-days in jail, but elected to spread it out over time and just serve on the weekends. But his continued bad decisions are getting even more jail time now.

Apparently his lawyer told the court that "his client was 'physically incapable' of getting himself to the Toronto-area jail...and called the weekend sentence 'a terrible error' on his client’s part."

Gee...ya think?!

This little excuse that he stole the car just to get to jail didn't pan out in court though, because our guy had been driving the stolen car for four days.

This guy, unsurprisingly, has a long rap sheet including; breaking-and-entering, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.

I'm pretty sure that if I had to drive myself to jail, I would find some other way than a stolen car to get there. Just sayin'.
