There are a lot of gross things on movie theater floors, but that didn't stop a Connecticut man from slithering around those sticky floors. He was stealing as much as $70,000 a week from women's purses while they watched movies.

According to the Courant, the guy would buy movie tickets to films aimed at a female audience, then he and an accomplice would crawl around on theater floors pilfering anything they could out of the movie-goers purses.

Once the movie started, [He] crawled on the floor, removed credit cards from the stored purses, and returned the wallet to the purses...Afterward, [He] used counterfeiting equipment to manufacture driver's licenses bearing the photograph of his current accomplice and the identifying information of the owner of the stolen credit cards.

Then the duo would use those credit cards to make cash withdrawals, robber people of 30-70 grand per week.

Now he faces up to 14-years in prison, one of the few places with floors that are probably more disgusting than movie theaters.

By the way, thanks a lot man! Now I'll be afraid to leave anything on the floors at the movies!
