A magician in London was down on his luck and started working at a deli cheese counter. He then decided to use his slight-of-hand skills to start stealing money from the register while he worked.

Despite his clever moves, he failed to realize that the store still kept track of how much money his drawer was supposed to have. Abracadabra!

According to UPI, the 35-year-old had worked as a magician at Harrods and then took a job at the store’s cheese counter. When taking money the ex-magician would take small amounts of cash from the register.

Once the store noticed the missing money they called in police and it didn’t take them too long to discover this magician’s secret.

He was arrested and charged with theft by employee but he also got another pretty serious charge. Yeah, magic man was hiding something special in his hat (or pocket), a little bit of cocaine. Police found it when they arrested him and tacked on a class A drug charge too.
