Today’s Dumb Criminal comes to us from right here in Fort Collins. A 19-year-old was arrested after threatening his roommates, barricading himself in his room, and recording a rap video.

According to the Rocky Mountain Collegian, this all happened on Drake Road this past Monday evening. Apparently a young man got in an argument with his roommates, got aggressive and armed himself with a corkscrew and a knife. The roommates called police and our guy barricaded himself inside the home and refused to come out until they had use a ‘diversionary device’ to get to him and take him into custody for felony menacing. According to the Collegian this guy already has a history of resisting police.

Here’s where things get a little weird.

At around 10:30 that night he posted a message on his Facebook page that read:

the realest video i have made — police outside due to an assualt on me by my room mate cameron.

Along with a link to a YouTube video called, “Adequate Advocate police are trying to murder me as I write this,” which is a video with plenty of NSFW language in a rap he recorded police were outside his home.

You can watch it below if you want, but again, it has some not safe for work or young ears content in it.

He claims "He's not a criminal," but wasn't he was going after his roommates with sharp pointy objects and barricaded himself inside his home from police? I'm pretty sure the law frowns on both of those actions.

He took to Facebook again about an hour later to post:

there is a live webcam going so if these police try to murder me it is on tape for the world to see as evidence. I AM UNARMED!!

The whole thing came to an end after police used their ‘diversionary device’ (which you can see in the video) and apprehended the kid.

This is one of those cases where I hope he was on some serious narcotics or something, because I can't find any way to follow his train of logic.

He may be delusional, he may have bad grammar and terrible spelling, but a political martyr he 'aint.
