Dumb Criminal of the Day: Butt-Slap Leads to Screwdriver Attack

Ladies, if you bend over and dare a guy to smack you on butt and he does, I don’t think you’re allowed to bring your husband back to try and stab him with a screwdriver.

I want to say that might fall under the, "You were asking for it," category.

According to UPI this bizarre harassment triangle filled the police blotters in Florida. The whole incident began with a 43 year old woman having a friendly conversation with a man. I’m not sure what kind of conversations they were having, but it ended up with her bending over and daring him to slap her rear end.

Unsurprisingly, the man says he ‘jokingly’ took off his belt and slapped her bum with it.

Even though she had dared him to, this upset her and she had some harsh words for the guy for storming off. She came back a little while later with her husband who was brandishing a screwdriver. The husband allegedly tried to stab the butt-slapper with the tool, but a well placed punch to the husband's face ended the confrontation.

When police showed up the husband claimed he was just talking with the man and was sucker-punched.

I’m guessing police took a, “I don’t care who started it, you’re both in trouble,” stance. The bum-slapper and the husband were both charged with felony aggravated assault with a weapon.

The wife probably got a stern finger-shake in her direction.

I wonder what would have happened if the non-husband had held out for a triple-dog dare?
