Teenage Burglar Gets Stuck in Chimney

Police in Atlanta said a 17-year-old burglar was taken into custody after he got stuck in a chimney. You know, if I wanted to break into a house I think the chimney would be the last possible way I would try and think of making my entrance.

No, this guy wasn’t trying to play Santa, he was trying to get in the house without breaking thing, and get out with an armful of valuables. Little did he know that he might not fit down the flue.

A neighbor called 911around 3AM when he heard someone shouting for help at the house across the street from him. When police showed up they found the 17-year-old wedged in the chimney. The kid was stuck in there for over 10 hours before being freed.

He then had to face charges of burglary and giving false information to a police officer. That and the embarrassment of being on the news for his lack of common sense.
