Dumb Criminal of the Day: Robber Posts Pics of Stolen Cash on Facebook

How dumb is dumb? How about robbing a bank and then posting pictures about it on Facebook? No one would ever think to find you on there...I can almost hear a Scooby-Doo-like villain now, "I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that meddlesome website!"

This guy allegedly stole cash from three Brooklyn banks. He then not only showed off the money he stole by posting pictures of himself with it on Facebook, but he went so far as to rename himself on his page as "Willie Sutton Jr." (a reference to a famous bank robber from the 1930s), told people he robbed banks because "that's where the money is", and encouraged other people to rob banks to get cash.

According to the Smoking Gun,

[He]posted a message referencing bank robbery: “What If We All G0t Fed Up With This Recessi0n And Started Running Inside Every [*******] Bank T0 Give Us The M0ney That Bel0ng T0 Us??? [******] Ain't Willing T0 G0 That Far And That's Why The G0vernment Ain't Never G0nna Respect The Pe0ple Because We All Ain't Wildin 4 Respect!!!”

We're never going to get respect because we don't rob banks?

I think I have a few other ideas as to why he gets no respect.

Note to self: Robbing banks is bad. Posting pictures of said robbery on Facebook is worse. Robbing banks to get respect does just the opposite.
