Dumb Criminal of the Day: Redneck Drinks, Shoots, Fights

You might be a redneck if...

A 43-year-old man from Palm City, Florida is in hot water after he allegedly got drunk, shot at his lawn mower with a pistol, fought with his adult son, and then pulled a shotgun on the son. The man ended up in jail after being shocked three times with a taser by police.

You won't believe what his excuse was.

According to WPTV the guy told a Sheriff's deputy he had no idea why he was going to jail.

He then stated that he shoots in the yard all the time and that fighting is what redneck people do.

It's what rednecks do...if that's what this guy truly thinks, maybe all those Jeff Foxworthy jokes are true.

Note to the wise: If your son has to wrestle two guns away from you because your wasted and shooting them at your lawn mower in the front yard, you're probably headed to jail. That's not normal behavior.

Thankfully no one was hurt, but the father now faces charges of aggravated domestic assault with a firearm and domestic battery.
