Dumb Criminal of the Day: Neighbors Steal Christmas Decorations for Own Yard

Christmas time is the time for good tidings and having goodwill toward others, but a couple of Scrooges decided to let greed and envy get the better of them this year.

The two Grinches are women (ages 18 and 34) from Sweetwater, Florida, who stole over $400 in Christmas decorations from their neighbor. How’d they get caught?

They stole the Christmas decor and put it up in their own front yard a block away!

Yes, there is no better way to get away with theft than to prominently display said stolen goods in your front yard less than a block off where you stole them from. No one will ever know….*Insert evil Scooby Doo villain laugh here*

Because of the value of the decorations the women will be charged with grand theft. (They stole Mickey Mouse on a horse, hugging penguins, Snoopy on a doghouse and Santa on a sled among other things.)
