This is the type of story I expect to see from the crowd waiting on the 6AM Sunday morning flights home from Las Vegas.

A 36-year-old Norwegian traveler had a few too many drinks and fell asleep on an airport baggage belt. There he traveled about a 160 feet on the conveyor system until he was discovered by an x-ray scanner.

According to The Telegraph, our traveler arrived at Italy’s busiest airport with a backpack and a beer. No one was manning a flight kiosk and he decided to hop over the counter and take a nap there.

He didn't pick the best spot to nap as his sleeping body traveled for about 15-minutes on the baggage conveyor belt until security officials identified him during an x-ray scan.

I’m guessing he got a good talking too from airport security to go along with his embarrassment.

I can think of at least a dozen places to fall asleep in an airport that would have been more comfortable than that.
