Dine and Dash Foiled By Restaurant Full Of Cops

The ‘dine and dash’ is one of those things that a lot of people do and a lot of people get away with. It’s illegal and we don’t condone it. But, if you a horrible enough person to attempt a dine and dash. You probably shouldn’t do it in a restaurant full of cops.

In New Mexico a man has been accused of trying to dine and dash at an Applebee’s restaurant, while the restaurant was full of police officer attending a Special Olympics Fundraiser.

According to KVIA our guy ate a nice dinner with two lady-friends. After eating, the women left, and then Mr. Classy tried to slip out without paying his $30 check. One major problem with his plan, the restaurant was doing a “Tip-a-Cop” fundraiser, in which police officers were working as the hosts and wait staff at the restaurant to try and raise money for Special Olympics.

To no one’s surprise, the man was apprehended before he got out of the parking lot.

Stealing money from special needs kids in front of a bunch of cops? That’s ‘stupid’ taken to another level.

I hope he wasn’t trying to impress his dinner dates.
