In case you've never noticed, most Subway sandwich shops don't have ketchup. (Ketchup is more of a "burger and fries" type if condiment, I guess.) But police had to be called to a Subway in Florida after a fight nearly broke out over a ketchup-related argument and a sandwich artists ended up losing his job.

According to WFTV, A man named Luis Martinez ordered Philly cheesesteak sandwich and wanted some  ketchup on it. Lawrence Ordone was the sandwich artist on duty and he had to tell Martinez that they didn't carry ketchup. After hearing that news, Martinez said he didn't want his sandwich any more. They next guy in line stepped in and said that he'd take it without ketchup. End of story, right?

Wrong.

The employee and the ketchup connoisseur got into a verbal exchange, some chairs were knocked over, things escalated and there were even death threats thrown into the mix. It probably would have escalated to a full-blow brawl had police not been called.

You can watch the video below and see both men's sides to the story. Both of them seem to have taken the incident very differently. But because of his hostile actions Ordone was fired from Subway.

Getting the police called and getting fired from your job over ketchup? Classy.
