Car Thief Falls Asleep In Vehicle, Wakes Up And Crashes Into Convenience Store Merchandise

Make sure to get a good night's rest before you decide to be a jerk and steal someone's car, or you could end up like this guy who ended up crashing into to racks of merchandise in front of a convenience store after emergency personnel found him napping in the parking lot.

According to Omaha.com,police received a call about a man asleep in the driver's seat of a running vehicle in a convenience store parking lot around 6AM. Firefighters and police came to the scene and tried to wake the guy up. He was startled and slammed on the accelerator, crashing his car into the racks of merchandise in front of the store.

Oops.

Turns out the car was a stolen and our guy had already bailed on  a court appearance for a different crime.
