Burglar Chased Down By 44-Year-Old Female Neighbor

A Florida couple found their home being robbed and one of the culprits was chased and taken down by one of their neighbors. A woman that was a 44-year-old former boxer.

According to WESH, the couple noticed a group of people walking in to the mother-in-law suite on their property where their grandson lives. They then noticed that their grandson's car wasn't there and that the group was robbing the place.

The husband grabbed his gun and fired a shot into the ground to scare the crooks off and it also alerted their neighbors.

One of which happened to be a 44-year-old former boxer who caught up to one of the 23-year-old burglars and tackled him.

I did make a comment to him, how he liked being caught and tackled by a 44-year-old woman; he just kept shaking his head.

Two other suspect were apprehended in a vehicle four-miles away, two more were found by K-9 units in the woods, and another was found early the next morning.

All of them will be charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and theft. Our one of them will forever have to be the strapping young lad who was chased and taken down by a middle-aged woman.

I think she deserves some kudos for her efforts!
