Burglar Caught After Accidentally Filming Robbery On Smartphone

Using your phone as a flashlight while robbing a place seems like it could be a smart move, unless you are accidentally recording every minute of your crime for police to find.

A 23-year-old is behind bars after robbing a home and trying to break into three more. The Daily Mail says the man had been trying to use his phone as a flashlight, but was, instead, recording video of his robbery-in-progress.

Smart phones don’t make smart people.

I can understand not-knowing he was taking video...but once he realized he did, why on earth didn't he delete it?
