Brothers Use Lottery Winnings To Buy Pot And Meth, Accidentally Blow Up House

Winning the lottery is a dream of many people. I think most of us have an idea what we’d do if we scored a lottery payday, I just hope your plan is better than these two brothers had.

They won $75,000 and celebrated by buying a bunch of pot, a bunch of meth, and then accidentally blowing up their own house.

According to the Wichita Eagle, these two brothers were high on life after winning a $75,000 lottery jackpot, but wanted to get high on something else. They apparently went out and bought drugs, marijuana and methamphetamine, to be precise. They returned home to start 'celebrating' and then this happened.

One of the brothers went to the kitchen to refuel the butane torches they planned to use to light their bongs. He emptied a couple of large cans of butane lighter fluid, leaking butane into the air….The butane vapor reached the pilot light in the furnace, and as you might expect, ka-boom.

One of the brothers, still wearing his lottery T-shirt, suffered serious second degree burns on his hands, arms and chest and after he was dropped off at the hospital police came to the house with a warrant and that’s when the other brother admitted to having the drugs inside.

After buying the drugs, the cost of their home repairs, the fines and court costs maybe these guys will come close to breaking even on their “jackpot”.
