Accused Burglar Suing 90-Year-Old Homeowner For Shooting Him During Alleged Robbery

A California burglar broke into the home of a 90-year-old man and tried to rob him at gunpoint. The homeowner had guns of his own and fought off the intruder, but now the alleged robber is suing the elderly man for shooting him!

All I can say is if this guy wins his case and gets to sue the old man, I’m moving to another country.

According to the Huffington Post, the robbery happened back in January. Our alleged crook entered the home of the 90-year-old man and began robbing him at gunpoint. The quick-witted homeowner convinced the crook to let him use the bathroom where he hides his own guns. After that the two men exchanged gunfire and wrestled one another to the ground.

The robber was wounded, but escaped. He was later apprehended by police on charges of attempted murder, burglary, robbery and firearms offenses by a felon.

[The alleged robber] is suing [the homeowner] for causing him "great bodily injury, and other financial damage, including loss of [his] home, and also the dissolution of [his] marriage.

He broke into a guy’s home, threatened him with a gun, and now has the gall to sue HIM?!

Despicable.
