Russell Brand Throws Paparazzo’s iPhone Through Window – Dumb Criminal of the Day

Celebrities are not above showing up on my 'Dumb Criminal of the Day' stories. Katy Perry's ex-husband Russell Brand has been arrested in connection with snatching a reporter's iPhone and throwing it through a window.

I'm fairly certain that's how toddlers solve their problems, not adults.

I know have nosey paparazzi members shoving cameras in your face can be aggravating, but stealing someone's smart phone and tossing it through a glass window because they made you mad? It's becoming more and more evident that Perry made a wise decision in her split with Brand.

You can read the whole story from The Wrap. Brand had become annoyed with a cameraman, so he snatched the guy's iPhone and chucked it through a window (An expensive window, I might add). Probably not the best reaction he could have had.

Apparently Brand talked about the event on Twitter earlier this week saying:

Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory.

Brand turned himself in today after a warrant was issued for arrest and charged with property damage and battery.
