Every jersey the Colorado Rockies will wear until 2030 will be different starting next season. Like nearly every other team in Major League Baseball, the Colorado Rockies will start wearing a sponsor patch.

York Space Systems Named as Rockies’ First-Ever Jersey Sponsor

Most teams in Major League Baseball have household goods and services as their sponsor patch, which is typically found on the sleeve of a baseball jersey. The Colorado Rockies announced that their patch will be for York Space Systems. This company is based in Colorado.

What Does York Space Systems Actually Do?

The Rockies say that York is a defense technology company that is one of the nation’s leaders for space solutions. On their website, York Space Systems said this.

When Will the Rockies Start Wearing the York Patch?

According to 9News, the Rockies will begin wearing their new patch on July 1 and will wear the patch through the 2030 season. There will also be York Space Systems signage on display at Coors Field in Denver.

We do not know exactly when that will happen, but we imagine it will happen sooner rather than later.

Will Rockies Fan Gear Include the Sponsor Patch?

We are curious to see if the new patch will be included on Colorado Rockies jerseys. Some teams' merchandise already has their sponsor patches included. Personally, I would not want a jersey with a sponsor patch on it. Would you?
