Colorado has so many fantastic local breakfast restaurants that it's easy to fall in love with certain ones. After two decades, one of those local favorites is going away for good.
Local Favorite In Colorado Closing It's Kitchen For Good
Finding a locally owned and run restaurant around Colorado isn't too hard. We have so many tasty options run by some amazing local families all over the state. Sometimes it's hard to narrow down to finding a true favorite though.
And even when you do find a favorite, it's not a one-size-fits-all-all. I have many favorites depending on what type of food I want to eat. Mexican, wings, burgers, chicken, and especially breakfast. Sadly, one of my local favs announced this week that they're closing for good.
Red Rooster Restaurant In Colorado Closing Doors Permanently
Since 2003, over two decades ago, The Red Rooster in Longmont, Colorado, has been "home" to so many breakfast lovers around the state. People would drive from all over to visit Dave and his family and enjoy a delicious homestyle and made-from-scratch meal.
Now, after 21 years just off of I-25 and Hwy 66, Dave has decided it's time to retire. On their Facebook page, they broke the news to their loyal customers saying:
We have been forever thankful for the continued support and love we have received over the last two decades. We are thankful for everyone who has been apart of our journey from our staff to our loyal customers. It’s a bittersweet feeling for us as we are going to miss our customers who have become friends/family to us. Cooking and family experience you have all grown to love and enjoy. We want to say Thank You for 21 years of memories, we are forever grateful. Please come see us and enjoy one last Rooster Meal.
