As you already know, or at least you should, Colorado has some of the very best locally-owned mom-and-pop restaurants anywhere. Over the last handful of years, we have kept losing them one after another.

This particular restaurant hasn't quite been open for a decade but has certainly created enough special and fond memories to feel like it, and our community is sad to see it close its doors for good.

My friends, let me introduce you to one of our new favorite restaurants for breakfast in all of Colorado, Maggi's Kitchen. It's a quiet locally owned and run cafe in Longmont, Colorado, just west of I-25 and Hwy 119. Open daily from 6 am until 2 pm, they specialize in some of the best homestyle breakfast and lunch in the state. Plus, they're super adorable!
