Denver Broncos To Beat The Chiefs In Kansas City This Week

Outside of the hated Las Vegas Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs are the most hated team by Denver Broncos fans.

Especially in the Patrick Mahomes era where Kansas City has pretty much owned the Broncos.

Until a huge upset win against the Chiefs last fall, the Broncos had lost to KC 16 games in a row.

Not only did the Broncos finally win, but they dominated both on defense and offense and didn't allow one touchdown from the current NFL MVP QB.

Going into Sunday's game at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs are perfect 8-0, but that all ends this week.

Sure, Broncos fans always have faith in our team and believe we're going to win any game we play, but this week's game is more than just a hunch. Here are some reasons to bet on the Broncos this week...

While KC is undefeated, most of their wins were super close one-score games where they barely escaped. They simply aren't nearly as dominant as recent KC teams.

KC just played a hard-fought cold & rainy game that went into overtime on Monday night, meaning they'll have less time to rest and prepare.

Patrick Mahomes had to be carried off the field by his teammates at one point during that game. He did return, but is he truly 100%?

Kansas City is almost certainly already looking past Denver to focus on their game against the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo the following week.

The Denver Broncos are extra motivated after an embarrassing loss in Baltimore against the Ravens last week.

The Denver Broncos defense had a bad game against Baltimore, but will certainly show that was not the norm and they'll be hungry to redeem themselves in KC.

It's a rivalry game, and Denver would love nothing more than to come and upset the current Super champs, in their house, to show that we are for real.

Being over-cocky and not giving the Broncos the respect they deserve going into this game is exactly why Kansas City is going to be exposed by the Broncos this week.

There will be no more long KC winning streaks against Denver, because in the Bo Nix, Pat Surtain II, and Coach Sean Payton era, not even Taylor can help KC.

The Broncos are on their way back to the top of the AFC West and beyond. Go Broncos!

Jersey Numbers the Denver Broncos No Longer Use

These jersey numbers hold special reverence to the team and thus aren't allowed to be worn any longer. When longtime fans see these numbers they say, "He was the best!" "The GOAT!" "They couldn't have done it, without him!"
